James F. MacGregor, President and Employing Broker
Jamie has been a boat broker for over 13 years. When Jamie began his career he decided to specialize in his passion, custom sportfishing boats. This proved to be a great decision, and after 15 sucessful years in the industry Jamie opened his own company in May of 1999. MacGregor Yachts was founded with emphasis on customer satisfaction and long term relationships. Jamie currently holds a 100-ton captains license. He has fished the east coast, the Virgin Islands, South America and the Bahamas.

Tom Downey, Sales
Tom grew-up fishing with his father off the coast of North Carolina. In the early seventies he moved to South Florida, where he enjoyed sail fishing. His experience in the marine industry has been purely recreational. But, don’t let that fool you! Tom has traveled throughout the Bahamas, Bermuda, Costa Rica, Turks & Caicos, Venezuela, Puerto Rico, and St. Thomas. He has formed great relationships with a lot of people he had the pleasure to meet during his travels. Tom’s friendly personality and his hands on boating experience provide him a great edge as a broker at MacGregor Yachts.

Robert Stalcup, Sales
Rob is a South Florida Native. Growing up in South Florida he has been on the water from an early age. He has worked as a licensed captain for the past 18 years. His travels include the Eastern seaboard, Bahamas, the Caribbean and Costa Rica. Rob also has several passages thru the Panama Canal under his belt.

Rob's experience, outgoing personality and focus on customer satisfaction makes him a great asset here at MacGregor Yachts.

Neil Bechtel, Sales
Neil brings to MacGregor Yachts and extensive knowledge of the boating industry as well as numerous miles of ocean experience as a USCG 100-ton licensed captain. With a background in the marine surveying industry as an associate member of SAMS and two years in the custom boat building insdustry, Neil knows where to find the right boat for his clients and is reliable, diligent and committed to attaining the goals of both buyers and sellers. With over two decades of experience in the marine and yachting industry, Neil assures his client’s receive top-notch service.

Eric Soderholm, Sales

Eric grew up in the Southern Florida and for the last 30 years he has been a licensed boat captain and has extensively traveled in the Caribbean, Bahamas and the Eastern seaboard of the US. He spent 5 years in custom boat building in Wanchese North Carolina. During this time he participated in building 3 new custom boats. Eric's knowledge of custom boat building is an asset to helping find the RIGHT boat for his clients and his easy-going demeanor makes him a pleasure to work with.

Ty Ueltschi, Sales
Ty was born and raised in Florida where he gained a love of fishing and the water at an early age. After receiving a B.A. in American History from the University of North Carolina, Ty moved to Charleston, South Carolina where he began his career as a Yacht Broker. From there he moved back to Florida and is honored to be part of the MacGregor Team. Ty’s enthusiasm for custom boats, combined with his time in both Florida and the Carolina’s gives him a through understanding of the entire custom boat market. Ty greatly enjoys working with buyers making the progression from production to custom boats. Ty has a USCG Captain’s License and holds a FAA pilots license.

Rory Kline, Sales
Rory was born and raised in South, FL. He spent school summers in the Abaco Bahamas fishing, diving and learning about being on the water. He has worked on boats for 13 years which has taken him to Mexico, St. Thomas, Venezuela and throughout the Bahamas. In addition, Rory has been a salesman for Bluewater Chair and Pompanette, further expanding his vast marine knowledge. Rory’s goal on each sale of a vessel is to assure his client complete satisfaction by finding them the right boat to meet their wants and needs.

Jason Parker, Sales
Jason grew up fishing on the Chesapeake Bay and at an early age learned his way around boats. That experience gave him a great respect and passion for the water. He has worked professionally as a mate and captain for the past 13 years and has traveled from Massachusetts to Florida, the Bahamas, Mexico and the Pacific Coast of Central America. Jason's knowledge and experience with all types of fishing on both production and custom sport fishing yachts make him a great addition to MacGregor Yachts.

Melissa Picciano, Office Manager
Melissa hails from upstate New York and moved to South Florida three years ago where she began her career in the yachting industry. Prior to joining MacGregor Yachts she was a yacht broker's assistant for a major yacht brokerage firm in Palm Beach where she honed her skills in sales and marketing. Melissa brings her very cheerful and enthusiastic attitude to MacGregor yachts and she is a proud Mother of her son Dylan, who is the apple of her eye.

Carol Damon, Office Assistant
Carol Damon a dedicated mother and the office assistant at MacGregor Yachts. Carol came to work for MacGregor Yachts through her long time friend Howard Bubis, Vice President of MacGregor Yachts. Carol’s dedication holds a key roll here at MacGregor Yachts, which benefits our staff and clients when searching for the perfect vessel.
