MacGregor Yachts is thrilled to continue our support of one of the most meaningful and exciting events in North Carolina’s sportfishing community. We are proud to be part of the Dare County Boat Builders Tournament. The Tournament is taking place this year from July 23–26, 2025 in Manteo, NC.
Our team is honored to return once again as the White Marlin Sponsor for this incredible tournament. The tournament brings together the region’s most passionate anglers, custom boat builders, and families for a weekend of fishing, fun, and fundraising. More than just a fishing competition, the Dare County Boat Builders Tournament supports the Dare County Boat Builders Foundation, a nonprofit that provides educational scholarships to local students. It’s a cause we care deeply about and are proud to support year after year.
Set in the beautiful Outer Banks, the tournament celebrates the craftsmanship and legacy of custom boat building. This tournament sees some of the finest sportfishing boats taking center stage. With categories for billfish and gamefish alike, the event brings a great mix of competitive fishing and family-friendly atmosphere. The tournament also includes dock parties, raffles, auctions, and plenty of chances to connect with others in the boating community.
