Raised in South Florida, Hazlett was introduced to fishing at an early age, and has traveled the world. After fishing her first tournament, Hazlett knew she wanted to be involved in boating and fishing for the rest of her life. She started working on Sportfish boats traveling all around. She soon then found her passion in running tournaments, as assistant director of Skip’s Tournaments in Abaco, Bahamas, as well as other South Florida events, including her very own ladies only Sailfish Sweethearts sailfish tournament in Palm Beach. She just took on tournament director of Pirate’s Cove Billfish Tournament and Alice Kelly Memorial Ladies Only Billfish Tournament in Manteo, NC.
