Known for celebrating women in sportfishing, this annual ladies-only tournament blends friendly competition, camaraderie, and plenty of fun on the water. This year’s tournament marks an exciting change, the event has moved to its new home at Buccaneer Marina. The move brings all the action to one scenic, central location. With its ideal waterfront setting and upgraded facilities, Buccaneer Marina provides the perfect backdrop for a weekend full of fishing, friendship, and celebration.
The Sailfish Sweethearts Tournament is all about fun and connection on the water. Over the course of fishing days, teams of lady anglers compete to release the most sailfish. Male captains and crew allowed to assist. Beyond the competition, the event is known for its upbeat energy, themed team outfits and boat decorations to dockside gatherings including the always-anticipated awards brunch. It’s not just about who catches the most fish; it’s about the memories made along the way.
