Entering the salon through the electric door you'll immediately notice the rich satin finished teak woodwork throughout. To starboard, houses an L-Shaped leather sofa, with ample storage below, accented by a teak cocktail table. To port offers access to the Octoplex System, along with great storage. This area also includes a full bar and clear ice maker. Forward is the galley area with two barstools to accompany the large neutral granite counter space. Six Sub-Zero drawers are supplied for refrigeration, along with a 4-burner Kenyan stove top. Tremendous storage for long range cruising is a top priority for this layout. Over to starboard you'll find an oversized dinette with storage as well.
Heading down the oversized companionway, the day head is located to the starboard side. Forward of the day head is a stackable Whirlpool washer and dryer for long, remote trips. To port a linen/storage closet houses anything necessary for convenient extended travels.
Stepping down into the guest stateroom to starboard, one is greeted with two oversized twin berths that contain storage beneath. With custom cabinetry above the starboard berth, and a hanging locker forward, storage of personal items is no issue. From the stateroom guests have access to the head which serves a dual purpose being used as a guest stateroom head or day head.
Down the companionway to port houses the master stateroom. Entering the master stateroom one will notice the offset tapered king berth that creates ample space for a couple to move about. With an oversized hanging closet and an abundance of drawer storage, wardrobe placement will never be an issue.
The private master head houses a Dometic toilet and oversized shower with a bench seat to clean up after a day out on the water. With a linen closet, sufficient granite counter space and vanity, no details were overlooked.
All the way forward in the companionway is access to the VIP stateroom. With a single berth and a full size berth, guests are able to rest comfortably. The VIP is well thought out with extensive storage inclusive of custom cabinetry above the full berth, storage beneath both berths and a hanging locker. Access to a private head ensures your guests will enjoy their stay.
Exiting the salon through the electric door into the cockpit is a gratifying experience. With 170 sqft of cockpit space that is lined by teak covering boards, combing boards and deck, no detail has been overlooked. A large mezzanine that includes air conditioning and JL Audio speakers will guarantee guests stay cool and entertained while watching the bite. Beneath the deck houses two crucial components for long days of fishing. A Seakeeper 16 that was retrofitted at the Viking Service Center to minimize the rock and roll on rough days is a significant value added. To port and starboard, two oversized fish boxes that contain an ice chipper dump will ensure your catch of the day stays cold.
With an island style helm, guests are given the ability to choose from one of three helm chairs or ample bench seating for a comfortable ride out to the fishing grounds. When seated at the helm, visibility is no issue as one can see from bow to stern with no obstructions. The helm is laid out neatly and effectively with three KEP monitors to display any combination an operator would prefer while fishing or cruising.
Engine room access and maneuverability is a breeze on the Anchor Check due to the effective layout. To both port and starboard are CAT C32 Acerts along with twin Cummins Onan generators. The motors can be accessed both centerline and to the exterior of each engine making a service or diagnosis a simple process. Forward of the motors to both port and starboard houses two separate pump rooms containing AC access, water maker access, and additional systems. The engine room layout on the 60' Viking is the epitome of what a neat, organized engine room should resemble.
